This 50 square metre apartment is suitable for up to 4 guests, because there is a spacious double bed in the bedroom, and a large comfortable double sofa-bed in the living room. The lodging also has a fully furnished kitchen, modern bathroom with stand-up shower cubicle and satellite TV free of extra charge.
There is a small terrace which is accessible from the kitchen, where you can sit outside and enjoy Portugal's great weather. Or open up the wide, full-length french windows in the living room to let the sunlight stream in and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of Alfama.

Location and Surroundings

Overlooking the Alfama in the medieval Castle of São Jorge, this building was a royal residence until the early 16th century and offers the best views of the city. On the slopes of Alfama there are many viewpoints (miradouros) from which to see the city and the River Tagus, like the Miradouro da Graça, near the church of the same name, Miradouro de Santa Luzia, also near the church of the same name. Nearby, discover the remnants of the ancient Moorish city walls and the Miradouro das Portas do Sol (Gates of the Sun viewpoint). The Museum of Decorative Arts is also near the Miradouro de Santa Luzia - this is a 17th century mansion with magnificent interiors.
The famous 28 yello tram takes you up and down Alfama's hills and past the Cathedral. Enjoy getting lost in the maze of alleys and discovering traditional fado houses and typical basr and cafes.

Booking deposit (to be paid by bank transfer): 25%. A cancellation is free of charge if done 3 days prior  to arrive;
Penalty in case of no-show, booking deposit won`t be refund;

House keeping and sheets/towels changed in stays for over a week (house keeping on request - € 40,00/day);
